Our location

Residence Bollo Apartments is located at Vicolo del Bollo n°4. An exceptional location in the heart of the historical centre just a short distance from Campo de’Fiori, a famed Roman square, the only square without a church, possessing a twin soul: in the morning it is the site of a colourful traditional market; in the evening, it is the favourite meeting place of the Roman nightlife. Located a short distance from Campo de’ Fiori are the characteristic streets with traditional workshops bearing to this day the names of the artisans that once worked there, such as Via dei Baullari, Via dei Cappellari and Via dei Giubbonari.

In addition, from Vicolo del Bollo it is possible to reach, following a short walk, some of the most famous historical and artistic monuments including the Colosseum, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia and the Vittoriano, the Imperial Fora and the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.

Without going too far from the apartments, you can also visit Palazzo della Cancelleria, the Library and the Baracco Museum of Antique Sculpture, Palazzo Farnese, inside which you will find a gallery with frescoes by Annibale Carracci and the Hercules Room with tapestries inspired by frescoes penned by Raphael, the incredible Bramante Cloister and Palazzo Braschi. By crossing the Tiber, on the other hand, you will reach the majestic Castel Sant’Angelo, a mausoleum to Emperor Hadrian and his family that was later transformed into a prison and a papal safe house; the lively Trastevere quarter, the emblems of which are the monuments to the Roman poets Gioacchino Belli and Trilussa; Saint Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums, inside Vatican City.

Finally, in close proximity to Residence Bollo Apartments, there is a Taxi stand and the stops of numerous public buses, take off points for further exploration of the “Eternal City”.
